Delete your Hugstorm account
You can delete your Hugstorm account and all game data at any time — right in the app, or by email. Hugstorm is made by AC Beauty to Customer UG (haftungsbeschränkt).
In the app (fastest)
- Open Hugstorm and tap Settings.
- Under Account, tap Delete account → Delete.
- Hold the button to confirm. The game then starts fresh.
This needs an internet connection, because the copy on our servers is deleted too.
By email
Can’t open the app any more? Email support@playhugstorm.com with the subject “Delete my account”. Add your player ID (in the app: Settings → Player ID) or as many details as you can (device, rough level, purchases) so we can find your account. We confirm by email when it’s done.
What gets deleted
- your game account and player ID;
- your progress: levels, the Grove, Guardians, cards, coins, gems and all other items, including the copy on our servers;
- your player name, league and event scores;
- game analytics linked to your ID (deleted or made fully anonymous);
- all game data on your phone.
Good to know: deleted progress and bought items can’t be brought back. Deleting does not cancel a running subscription — cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings.
What we must keep
- Purchase records (product, price, date, transaction ID) for up to 10 years, because tax and commercial law requires it — kept apart from game data and without your progress.
- Anonymous totals that can’t be linked to anyone.
- Apple and Google keep their own records of purchases and downloads under their privacy policies.
When
On your phone: right away. On our servers: within 30 days; backup copies are gone within another 30 days. Crash reports are deleted automatically after 90 days. More in the privacy policy.
